Brass pulls can operate heavy drawers when the handle body, mounting posts, screws and drawer front are designed as one load-bearing system. Material alone does not determine performance. A thick brass pull installed with unsuitable screws or attached to a weak panel can loosen even when the handle itself remains undamaged.
